Pros:


- Working in the Security Sector is the most secure job in the world – and I f you really enjoy doing your job then job satisfaction is likely to be very high


- Security jobs often pay quite well as compared to other jobs and you usually end up earning as much as £15 per hour


- Security jobs are very flexible and you get to choose your own hours i.e. you only work the shifts that fit around your schedule


- Thanks to the advancement in technology, Security Personnel no longer have to deal with dangerous individuals on their own; seldom would it be that you are required to use force


- Security personnel get to have fun even at work as they may be working as Clubs, Bars and other places where alcohol is being served


- The basic annual salary is good – having freshly acquired a recognized qualification/training, you may begin your career as a Security Guard earning as much as £18,000 every year. Note that as in every other profession, the Salaries tend to rise with person’s skills and experience

 

Cons:


- Working in the Security industry can sometimes be a dangerous business


- Sometimes the work can be very demanding (you may be required to watch 20+ CCTV’s at the same time) and you may have to work long hours (including nights and weekends)


- You must have strong nerves because you have to be on your toes every single minute you are at work
